JAMMU, Aug 4: Sikh Naujwan Sabha, Gurdwara Sant Pura Danna, Sector 7, Nanak Nagar, Jammu today felicitated the philanthropist of Jammu and Kashmir UT, Sarpanch (Trewa Gram Panchayat) Balbir Kour for her sincere and everlasting efforts against COVID-19 pandemic which has set a great example nationwide.
Sikh Naujwan Sabha also mentioned about the recent broadcast of “Mann Ki Baat” by Prime Minister, Narender Modi wherein he appreciated Balbir Kour for initiating effective and positive Corona virus control measures in Gram Trewa.
The Sarpanch has established a 30 bed quarantine centre in her area, providing necessary and adequate sanitization to various adjoining areas of the village in a very large scale. All these steps are truly acknowledged and it is further urged to everyone for their volunteer contribution to this noble cause for the sake and welfare of humanity.
The Saropa was honoured by Sant Tejwant Singh, Dera Mina Sant Pura Danna Nanak Nagar.
