Mayor JMC inaugurates open gym

Jammu, Aug 4: Continuing his endeavour to provide better development and civic amenities to the people of Jammu city, Chander Mohan Gupta, Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation today alongwith Surinder Sharma Councilor of ward no.38 visited the areas of Paloura & its adjoining localities and commissioned number of equipments installed at open Gym situated at Lohan Park Paloura. Ravish Mengi Janipur Mandal President BJP, Sanjay Bakshi, Roshan Lal Taing, Rattan Lal Joshi, Bhushan Lal (Retd. SSP) Parshotam Lal, Pawan Kesar and other prominent inhabitants of the locality as well as Parshotam Kumar Gupta, Sanitation Officer, concerned Sanitary Inspector & other field staff of JMC were also present during the function which was organized in a very simple manner. Mayor told the gathering that Jammu Municipal Corporation has already taken up the job of commissioning open gyms along with installing requisite number of equipments related to it so that General public, locals as well as children can take full benefits of these facilities in an open & eco-friendly atmosphere and inhale fresh air while performing physical exercise its related activities . He further said that this was the major demands of the locals which has been fulfilled by the Jammu Municipal Corporation by installing the equipments at the estimate cost of two lacs & JMC is committed to commission the open gym equipments in each ward of the corporation.
