Shiksha Niketan School organizes online “Rakhi – Making Activity”

Jammu, Aug 4: Shiksha Niketan Senior Secondary School, Jeevan Nagar - Jammu organised an Online “Rakhi – Making Activity” for the students of class 5th on 31st of July, 2020.All the students of class 5th participated in the activity and made colourful “Rakhis” Which got appreciation of all the teachers.
The competition started with full enthusiasm among the students. All the students seemed to have turned themselves into little artists, and making the best knot of protection i.e, “Rakhis” was the only object. Everyone used different materials, colours and creative ideas to make the best “Rakhis”. All the children participated with great zeal and zest in this creative competition of “Rakhi Making”.
The artistic ideas were quite fascinating and the children fully enjoyed the competition which tickled their creativity. They made colorful and vibrant “Rakhis”.
The winners among the participants in this activity were six students one student from each section Tashishdeep kour (5th ‘A’), Niharika Rajput (5th ‘B’), Aryan Sharma (5th ‘D’), Jagreet kour (5th ‘E’), Dilpreet kour (5th ‘F’), Taranjot singh from 5th ‘I’ , This activity was adjudged by the Form teachers, Co- ordinator and the Incharge of the Middle Wing. The motive behind organising this competition was to give message to the society that the small piece of thread carries the power of a sister’s love for her brother. This activity gave the message of “Rakhi - Bandhan which symbolises a “Sacred Bond of Love” between a brother and a sister and makes us realise the sweet and sacred bond of hearty feelings of the siblings for the “Rakhi – Bandhan Activity” with the feeling of “Pride and Responsibility” of this relation.
