CF appeals to PM to release Mehbooba Mufti
8/5/2020 12:09:30 AM
Jammu, Aug 4: Citizen's Forum appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to release Mehbooba Mufti the former Chief Minister of J&K State as why she alone , among all three former Chief Ministers , is still under detention. As is known she never demanded to go with Pakistan and whatever security problems created and her reactions were absolutely known and done with the tacit knowledge of the Prime Minister and the Home Minister Raj Nath Singh. She was made scape goat to propagate political interest of the Party at national level. Later on her democratically elected government was dissolved. Her later utterances good or bad are the natural reaction of the action taken against her. R K Chadha President Citizen's Forum said we do not argue the results of August 5 simmering anger of sections of Kashmiri sections disturbed over the revocation of the special status breaking up the state in to two UTs, and some leaders provocative statements who think they have achieved everything by abrogating Art.370.
