Abrogation of Art 370 could not end suffering of Jammu people: TDF
8/5/2020 12:09:42 AM
Early Times Report

Doda, Aug 4: The members of Thathri Development Front, District Doda, have said that abrogation of Art.370 & 35-A has not ended the sufferings which the poor people of Jammu, Kashmir & Ladhak have been facing for last seven decades. The corruption, nepotism & discrimination with poor people remained same as before & after abrogation of Art.370 till date. They said that the Congress, NC & PDP are responsible of the abrogation of Art.370 & 35-A because they have always misused Art. 370 for their personal interests & not for the common people of Kashmir, Jammu or Ladakh. In J&K employment was/is only for the wards & relatives of politicians not for the wards of poor people of Kashmir, Ladhak or Jammu Divisions. They had welcomed the historical decision of Modi Government for abrogation of Art. 370 & 35-A on 5th August, 2019 as it was the need of the time for peace, national security & integration & also for the equitable development of all the three regions & also equal development of rural as well as urban areas of the state. The Congress, NC & PDP should accept the decision of abrogation of Art. 370 & 35-A by the central government, passed in both the houses of Parliament by two third majorities, with positive mind set & moves ahead. No doubt it would have been better had Jammu & Kashmir remained a state but let’s hope it comes back as full-fledge state as announced by Prime Minister Narinder Modi & also the Union Home Minister Amit Shah had promised statehood to Jammu & Kashmir once there are normal conditions in Jammu & Kashmir.
