Shreya Sasmal of DPS Udhampur bags 2nd position in debating fest

JAMMU, Aug 5: Shreya Sasmal, student of class XII (Medical Stream) Delhi Public School (DPS) Udhampur, made her school proud after winning second position for the Best Speaker in the students live Webinar Debating fest organized by Student Global Ambassador Program- Group 5 under the banner of CED Foundation on August 3.
The theme of this webinar was “How would you suggest Inclusion and Caring into 21st Century Learning?” 20 schools across the country participated the Chief Guest was Nicholas Van Onselen (Head of Gifted and ICP Bangkok, Thailand) and Dr.Abdullah Rashid (Minister of State , Ministry of Education- Maldives), the members of the jury were Dr Vikesh Kaur (Principal Doon International Jammu), Neha Sharma(Principal G D Goenka Ghaziabad), Yolisa S Dlaii (ESL Teacher Johannesburg) Kerry France (International student Recruitment Specialist Australia), Milena C Santos (Educationist provider Customize Services Brazalian and Latin American Clients) and James Martin (Founder and managing partner Global Talk Education Canada) .
All the participants who took, part in the competition were brilliant but Shreya Sasmal was appreciated for her extraordinary way of presenting her thoughts.
She has also qualified for the next level of webinar that is going to be held at International platform.
The Management, Principal and Staff congratulated Shreya for her laudable achievement.
