| GDC Kalakote launches online admission process for BA Sem-1 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KALAKOTE, Aug 5: Principal Government Degree College (GDC) Kalakote convened a meeting with Admission Committee of the College on “Zoom App”. The meeting was attended by all the permanent staff members of the college. After a threadbare discussion several decisions were taken unanimously which include that a committee shall be constituted to deal with the online admission process, that Prof Anayat Ullah Khan will act as the Convener of that committee and all other permanent staff members will be the members of that committee, that the entire Kalakote Tehsil has been declared as “Red Zone” by the District Administration Rajouri and hence impossible for the Admission Committee to continue the process of admission as “Off-Line” mode, that this year the admission process for the session 2020-21 will be run on-line for which a “Google Form” will be generated and it will be linked with the college website, that all the committee members will help the new comers in filling their Choice Based Google form which is available on the college website and will conduct the counseling of new comers telephonically.
The Principal of the college, Prof (Dr) Romesh Kumar Gupta stressed upon the prevailing situation of COVID-19, members of Admission Committee and the students have to follow the instructions / SOP’s as issued by the Government from time to time and to avoid the large gathering it is need of the hour to continue the admission process on On-line mode this year. |
