KISHTWAR, Aug 5: Blacktopping work was today started here on 6.78 KM stretch (village Noor to Tipperi) of Dunnadi Bounjwah road under stage II of PMGSY scheme.
Additional District Development Commissioner Mohammad Hanief Malik kick started the blacktopping work in presence of Executive Engineer PMGSY, Bashir Ahmed Khandey; Block Development Officer, Bounjwah, Din Mohammad; Assistant Engineer, PMGSY, Abid Hussain Mintoo besides locals and PRI members.
The work has been undertaken by PMGSY division Kishtwar at an estimated cost of Rs 4.13 crore. Executive Engineer PMGSY informed that the work on the said road commenced on Nov 2018 and is targeted to complete in all respects by December 2020. The ADDC asked the Executive Engineer to ensure the quality of work and complete it in a stipulated time frame. He asked for strict adherence to SOPs and protocol of COVID19 pandemic at the work place.
