8/5/2020 11:12:59 PM
Early Times Report

JAMMU, Aug 5: The workers of Dogra Front (DF) and Shiv Sena (SS) under the leadership of their president Ashok Gupta held a grand celebration on the occasion of stone laying ceremony of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya by PM Narendra Modi. The celebrations were held at Rani Park where a massive 20 feet poster of Lord Ram was hung and 200 Diyas and candles were listed to support the building of Ram Mandir. The idols of Bhagwan Ram, Laxman, Mata Sita and Lord Hanuman were showered with flowers.
Speaking on the occasion, Ashok Gupta said that Lord Ram temple being built in Ayodhya is associated with “our belief”. He also appealed to people in J&K to light diyas at their homes on the occasion.
After the fight of 500 years finally the Supreme Court gave the Verdict in the favour of Ram Mandir and after today’s stone laying ceremony a larger than life temple would be built and then Ram Lala can reside in the place of his birth, he added.
He further stated that lot of governments came and went but none did anything about it. There were some people who even submitted a paper to finish the faith of the people in Lord Ram.
Today is a historic and proud day for India and a start of a new era, Ashok Gupta said.
At last Gupta said that the temple of Maryada Purushottam Prabhu Ram is being constructed in accordance with the process of justice and with the enthusiasm of the public and with the support of social harmony. The temple complex, I believe, will become a symbol of modern India based on the ideals of Ramrajya, he added
On the occasion, Gupta distributed pure desi ghee Ladoos in the entire bazar and the dhols were beaten to mark the sense of happiness among the people of Jammu.
