8/6/2020 12:27:54 AM

EARLY TIMES REPORT

JAMMU, Aug 5: To celebrate the first anniversary of abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A besides the foundation stone laying for the construction of Shri Ram Temple at Ayodhya, a programme was organized in Bishnah town today.
The programme held while adhering to all the Covid-19 related SOPs and guidelines. On the occasion, Ex-MLA and senior BJP leader Ashwani Kumar Sharma was the chief guest. There was great enthusiasm among the people to celebrate the day. People chanted slogans of 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai' and 'Jai Shree Ram' to celebrate the abrogation of Article 370 and Bhoomi Poojan for the construction of Ram Temple at Ayodhya.
While addressing the gathering, former legislator Ashwani Kumar Sharma said that abrogation of Article 370 and 35A is one the biggest achievements of Modi Government.
He said that Article 370 and 35A were responsible for corruption, lack of development and mis-governance in Jammu and Kashmir, adding that the repealed Articles were beneficial only for the select few like the separatists and their associates.
While referring to the foundation stone laying of Ram Temple at Ayodhya, Ashwani said that it is a historical day for every Indian. He said that people were waiting from many years for a Ram Temple on Ram Janmabhoomi. Today that dream has come true.
BDC Chairman Surjeet Kumar, senior BJP leader Raj Singh Langeh, BJP Mahila Morcha District RS Pura President Parveen Kumari, a large number of Sarpanchs and Panchs were also present on the occasion.
