SAMBA, Aug 5: Rajan Sharma Senior Congress leader staged protested against central government. during protest Rajan Sharma said Jammu Kashmir was one of the biggest state of India. He said this state once had ruled by King , Prime Minister and Chief Ministerial like post, but now this BJP has cut this state worth to a Principal Secretary level. Now a principal secretary rank officer is ruling over this state. Demoting to Union Territory from state is an insult of the people of Jammu Kashmir. “We strongly condemned the act of central Government which they did on Aug5, 2019 (demoting to union territory from state). And we demand statehood for Jammu & Kashmir, which was snatched by BJP led central government on Aug 2019. Next to this Sharma said statehood is not our demand this is our right. A state who is very small from J&K on both factor population and area has still working as a state. once of the largest state whose area was once more than 2 lakh km before reorganization now been cut to union territory. we never tolerate this humiliation. Sharma demanded immediate restoration of statehood, he said congress party nevertheless tolerate any further delay in restoration of statehood for J&K. |
