Bharat Scout and Guide Udhampur conducts plantation drive

Udhampur, Aug 6: Bharat Scout and Guide Udhampur continuing its plantation drive in different places of Udhampur like religious complexes; hospitals and schools planted trees in different Government school of District Udhampur under the guidance of Balwan Singh.
Rakesh Singh Scout master while interacting with the media said that Bharat scout and guide of Udhampur has planted more than 100 trees and they have to achieve the target of 500 trees with the involvement of different voluntary organization.
Scout master Vivek Gupta stressed on the importance of plantation of medicinal plants in homes and schools including ornamental plants. Scout master Vikram gupta expressed his gratitude towards District Administration Udhampur and chief education officer Udhampur for their continuous support of Bharat scout and guide Udhampur in plantation drive including distribution of mask.
Ajay Mathur scout master given message to all youth to take pledge to protect plants and plant more and more trees for making earth green as forest cover of earth is depleting day by day due to deforestation.
Scout master Rakesh Singh appealed forest department of Udhampur to support them in this plantation drive and also praised the department for supplying them plants for this pious work.
