Jammu , Aug 6; Plantation drive was launched by senior BJP Leader & Former Speaker/Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta, in Presence of District President- Vinay Gupta and Mandal President Gandhi Nagar & Councillor Neeraj Lucky Puri in ward 54- Trikuta Nagar in continuation with the various ongoing 15 days program of BJP to celebrate the anniversary of abrogation of Article 370 from erstwhile J&K. This plantation drive is the best tribute to our beloved Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherji who was founder of BJP and breathed his last for the fight against the dual citizenship and separate flag& Constitution in Jammu and Kashmir. Like plants, which serve all the living bodies on earth in one way or the other without getting any return, Mukherji also served the nation for whole of his life selflessly. His contributions to the people of India in general and J&K in particular, have been globally appreciated.
He said that plantation of trees, is a real tribute to our leaders who fought for the integrity of the nation as one and such type of plantation drive shall further be extended to each ward of urban local bodies & Panchayats of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. Every worker of the party would get inspired from the growth of the plants thus remembering BJP leadership of the past for their selfless service to nation.
