| Mayor JMC kick starts various development activities | | |

Jammu, Aug 6: Continuing his commitment to provide better development and civic activities to the people of Jammu City Chander Mohan Gupta Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation today alongwith Madam Rekha Manhas conducted an extensive tour in the different areas of ward no.62 (Roop Nagar) and kick started the various development works in terms of overall face lifting of Municipal Animal birth control centre at Roop Nagar Jammu which includes laying of proper floor tiles within the premises of the centre, construction of water reservoir, renovation of doctors room, renovation / installation of Main gate, complete white washed of the centre and other facilities . Ashwani Kumar Executive Engineer, Deep Kumar, Assistant Executive Engineer, Rakesh Kumar Junior Engineer of Division-III JMC concerned contractor as well as Sanjeev Bakshi Booth President, Madam Neeru Sharma Mahila Mandal President, Rajinder Singh General Secretary Paloura Mandal, Rahul Kumar, Madam Jiya Bhagat prominent inhabitants of the locality were also present during the function which was held in a very simple manner. Mayor said that he has visited the centre alongwith of Municipal Veterinary officer about two months back who has requested for renovation work for working in a smooth manner in the public interest as large number of stray dogs are being looked after & providing best medical treatment. Mayor further told that working with unspoken/dumb animals are the most difficult task for the doctors & staff members. |
