UDHAMPUR, Aug 7: A plantation cum -awareness drive (Go green) was Firday organized by District Treasury Office Udhampur in collaboration with Government Degree College Boys, here in the College premises. The College Principal, Prof. Subash Chander alongwith District Treasury Officer and staff members planted trees on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, District Treasury Officer, Udhampur Alok Gupta said that the objective of organizing this drive was to contribute towards clean green environment.
He said there was a need to plant more and more trees so that the balance in nature could be maintained. |
