JAMMU, Aug 7: Shamshaan Enlightenment Welfare Association (SEWA), working with the matters related to Shamshaan Ghats (Cremation Ground/s), hailed starting of developmental works at Shamshaan Ghaat, Bhour Camp. President SEWA, Jagdish Kumar Sharma, expressed gratitude to Avny Lavasa, Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) and said that it is a matter of pleasure for the people from all walks of life living in nearby villages namely ward No 1 & 2 Bhour Camp, Karan Bagh, Bhour Pind, Kothey Juma Ram, Kothey Bhour, Shumali Mohalla, Chatha Pind and Chatha Farm.
He along with the members of SEWA appreciated and thanked Madam for starting the construction works at Shamshaan Ghat, Bhour Camp (Jammu) and for fulfilling the long pending demands of the society. He hoped that the works started will be completed in the stipulated timeframe.
Sharma further apprised that it is necessary to mention here that there was a requirement of Snan Ghar (for bathing / washing purposes) near Shamshaan Ghat Bhour Camp.
It is therefore requested and proposed by the society to construct the Snan Ghar on the land available near Panchayat Ghar to resolve a long pending demand of people. |
