Jammu, Aug 7: Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Chander Mohan Gupta today inaugurated open gym situated at Mohalla Naryaiana and commissioned the requisite number of equipments related to open gym on the demands of the locals.
Madam Radha Sharma, Madam Asha Gupta, Madam kamini , Madam Jyoti Bhatt, Munish Sharma , Neeraj kotach, Deepak kumar prominent BJP leaders & other citizens were also present during the inauguration function which were held in a very simple manner.
Later, Mayor along with Dinesh Gupta Councilor of ward no.18 also visited the Sarwal area and inaugurated the various equipments at open Gym at Shivaji Park Sarwal Jammu Sh Mohit Mahajan, Executive Engineer, Project Division JMC, Sh Arun Gupta Executive Engineer, Sh S.K Bhatt Junior Engineer of division II JMC , Sh R.C Bhasin, Sh Charan Dass , Smt Sangeeta Gupta , Sh Subash Chander, Sh Om parkash, Sh Narinder Kumar, Sh Pawan Bakshi and other prominent residents of the ward were also present there. Mayor told that Jammu Municipal Corporation has already taken up the job of commissioning open gyms along with installing required number of equipments related to them so that general public, locals, old persons and children can avail full benefit of these facilities in an open & eco- friendly atmosphere and inhale fresh air while performing different types of physical exercise & its related activities on routine basis.
