DC launches 'Awaz-e Rajouri' mobile app to improve public grievances redress mechanism

RAJOURI, Aug 7: To further improve the public Grievances redress mechanism in the district, Deputy Commissioner, Mohammad Nazir Sheikh, today launched a mobile app “Awaz-e Rajouri in presence of the entire district administration and media persons. The app has been developed by a team of National Informatics Centre Rajouri.
The Deputy Commissioner the launch of the mobile app would give an impetus in achieving a better public grievances mechanism. He added that the use of this mobile app by the general public would make the officers and officials more accountable and instill confidence among the people in the district administration. He said that the app would help the citizens to register their grievances online and also track the status of their compliant. The app is available for android users free of cost. Explaining the procedure, the Deputy Commissioner said that with the filing of complaint the nodal officer would receive a message and after scrutiny, the complaint will be forwarded to the concerned department for redressal. He assured that the resolution of the complaint would be time bound.
