Jammu, Aug 8: The J&K chapter of the Indian Association of Dermatologists , Venereologists and Leprologists (IADVL) has unanimously elected Dr. Rajesh Sharma and Dr. Puneet Singh Soodan , Consultant Dermatologists as President and Honorary General Secretary of IADVL J&K respectively.
Both consultant Dermatologists are the youngest elected representative members of the state in the history of J&K chapter of IADVL and have earned this position by their hard work in the field of Dermatology.
A Virtual General Body Meeting was recently held under the auspices of IADVL J&K. Majority of renowned Dermatologists from all over J&K including Dr. Jitender Arora, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, Dr. H.S. Soodan , Dr. R.K. Khosa , Dr. Iffat Hassan , Dr. Dev Raj Dogra , Dr. Sheikh Manzoor , Dr. Imran Majid and others were part of this eminent meeting.
The IADVL is a representative organization of the composite discipline of Dermatology ,Venereology and Leprosy in India and is recognized worldwide . The members of the J&K branch and the National IADVL are continuously representing Indian Dermatology on a global platform. The J&K branch has always taken initiatives in creating awareness programmes to inform and educate the community regarding skin disorders and leprosy.
IADVL J&K branch also holds seminars for members too as part of Continuing Medical Education programmes to keep the Members updated with the latest in the field of Dermatology.
