SAMBA, Aug 9: District Police Samba recovered 2 stolen motorcycles within 24 hours in two separate theft cases registered at Police Station (PS) Vijaypur.
On 7th of August 2020, a written complaint was lodged by complainant namely Rustam Khokar S/o Hira Lal R/O Ward No 5, H. No. 130, Vijaypur-regarding theft of his motorcycle (Pulsar) bearing Regd. No. JK21E-7880 parked in front of his house. On this a case FIR No. 138/2020 U/S 379 IPC was registered at PS Vijaypur.
On the same day, another written complaint was also lodged by complainant namely Bhola Nath Bali R/O Ward No 3 Kothey Camp, Vijaypur regarding theft of his motorcycle (Passion Plus) bearing Regd. No. JK02AA-9327 parked near Vishavkarma temple, Vijaypur. On this a case FIR No. 139/2020 U/S 379 IPC was registered at PS Vijaypur and investigation started. Acting swiftly, Police team of PS Vijaypur traced out both the stolen motorcycles with 24 hours. Moreover the search of unknown culprits is going on during which one suspect namely Pritam Singh S/o Mohan Singh R/O Jerda, Ramgarh was arrested in the instant matter. Further investigation is going on. |
