Poonch, Aug 9: A Physical education Teacher from the Department of Youth services and Sports Rajinder Singh brought laurels to the department by representing India at Ist International Taekwondo Poomsae Championship.
The championship is organised by AITA in collaboration with Korean Culture Centre in which 21 countries of the world like Tunisia, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Portugal, Great Britain, North Korea, Pakistan Russia,
Hong Kong China, South Korea, Oman, Peru, Mexico, Malaysia , Columbia,Bahrain,Nigeria,INDIA ,Morocco and Yaman participated.
Rajinder Singh from district Poonch participated in under 40 year category.
He is also a National Referee of Taekwondo and Black belt holder from Poonch. |
