| Shiksha Niketan organizes vocal competition | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 10: Shiksha Niketan Senior Secondary School Jeevan Nagar Jammu organised an online vocal competition on “Nagasaki International Day”.
The students participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. The winners of this competition were Master Angadpreet singh got 1st Rank, Master Medhanst Kumar (3rd I) got IInd Rank, and Miss Sanvi Sharma of 3rd D secured IIIRd Rank.
This competition was adjudged by the form teachers of class 3rd , co –ordinator of class -3rd Miss Desha Rajput and the Incharge of Primary Wing Parvinder Kour.
The main purpose of the competition was to commemorate the day during world war II (1945), when a fat man Atomic bomb was thrown on Nagasaki due to which about 80,000 people lost their lives.
Principal Rameshwar Mengi appreciated the efforts of all the participating students of class -3rd and stressed on the need of organising such like competitions and activities in the school to familiarize the students about the “International blunders” committed by some power thirsty people and to aware them to adopt and encourage the path of peace, prosperity and universal brotherhood.
