Jammu, Aug 10: All J&K Youth Federation (AJKYF) State Executive Member and Incharge Jammu Province, Ch. Sanjay Singh Sandhu has expressed serious concern over the unrest among the educated and uneducated unemployed youth of the Union Territory and said that the Prime Minister has utterly failed to fulfill his promises for providing employment opportunity in a press statement circulated here today.
He added that on one pretext casual workers and daily wagers are waiting for release of their wages and regularization from such a long time and on the other pretext the corona warriors were terminated from their services, SRO 24 which is against the promises made in Lok Sabha elections twice. Sandhu further added that Angarwari helpers and workers were lathi charged, Farmers are committing suicide, insecurity and bloodshed on border due to un-provoked firing has increased the number of martyrs each day, despite the fact that many government employees were without their salaries on the holy occasion of Eid and Rakshabandhan. He said that the Prime Minister Narinder Modi and the UT administration are answerable to the youth against their mis-governance and questioned that “how this period can be justified as Acche Din”? All J&K Youth Federation urged upon the central government and UT administration for formulating appropriate Youth Policy benefiting the youth of J&K and provide job opportunities for educated and uneducated youth of the UT. |
