Jammu, Aug 11: A NSS volunteer Vivek Parihar today organised a plantation and cleanliness drive at Udhampur.
A NSS volunteer of Jammu University, he has adopted three schools including one primary school, one middle school and one high school of village Riti, Bishorian and Ladihala respectively of Zone tikri.
In these drives, he was also accompanied by local Panch and Sarpanch of that area. Honourable guest of these drive were Chairman BDC Udhampur Balwan Singh accompanied by Sarpanch (Lower Garnai) Anita , Panch (Garnai word no.1) Anil along with the Panch of Riti village. During these drive they cleaned the bushes of these three schools and planted more than 300 saplings inside the school premises and the adjoining areas of Garnai Panchayat and Lower Garnai Panchayat.
