SRINAGAR, Aug 11: Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar has extended his warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on eve of Janmashtami, saying the ideals of Lord Krishna’s life are of universal relevance.
While extending his greetings, Advisor Bhatnagar said that Lord Krishna’s message of standing up for righteousness against evil, working for universal well-being and focusing on responsibilities rather than rewards is inspiring for all.
The Advisor added that on this occasion we should commit ourselves to following the path of virtue shown by Lord Krishna and strengthen our society and nation by contributing to the well-being of our people and society in large.
Advisor Bhatnagar appealed the people to follow necessary guidelines put in view of the global pandemic of the COVID 19 while celebrating the occasion and advised them to strictly follow the concept of Social distancing.
The Advisor also prayed for the peace, progress and prosperity of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
