JAMMU, Aug 11: Alleging a fraud in land deal, a businessman namely Ashok Kumar of Shakti Nagar, Jammu has urged the Samba District Administration and police to provide him justice in the case.
Addressing media persons here today, Ashok Kumar alleged that he purchased 5 kanals of land situated at village Kartholi Morh, Bari Brahmana, District Samba on a Power of Attorney in year 2002 from one Ramesh Chander, son of Gouri Shanker of Canal Road, Rajinder Nagar Jammu.
Ashok Kumar said that he paid Rs 80 lakh to Ramesh on same day, adding that after purchasing the land I constructed the boundary wall. Ashok Kumar said that now he came to know that boundaries of his land has been demolished by some goons, allegedly at the behest of Ramesh Chander.
Kumar said that not only this he also came to know that even the land owner from whom he purchased the land made another second Power of Attorney in 2016, in his own wife’s name Sunita Sharma. Ashok Kumar said that person cheated him and illegally trespassed in his land.
He urged administration and the police to take strong legal action against him and his goons.
