JAMMU, Aug 12: Sarpanchs of different panchayats of Block Bhalwal nominated Sarpanch Keran-Bantalab, Dharminder Singh Manhas as president of Sarpanch Association of the block.
While addressing a press conference here today, Dharminder Singh Manhas, newly nominated president of Sarpanch Association of Block Bhalwal thanked all the Sarpanchs and Panchs of his Block and promised them that he will work for the betterment of the society and for the betterment of the whole block and will stand with all the Sarpanchs in every situation.
Dharminder further added that Block Bhalwal is being discriminated at every sphere by administration and there are so many problems faced by locals of Block Bhalwal.
Dharminder said that Sarpanchs were elected by the locals and through proper elections but no power been given to the Panchs and Sarpanchs while no suggestions are being taken from them for development of Panchayats.
Earlier, in the meeting of Sarpanchs of Block Bhalwal, Dharminder Singh was nominated as President of the Block Bhalwal Sarpanchs Association, Kuljeet Singh Jamwal as Senior Vice President, Vikram Sharma as Vice President, Naresh Jamwal as Gen. Secretary, Rajni Devi as Secretary, Hari Saran as Secretary, Pawan Singh Salathia Media Secretray, Joginder Singh Langeh as Cashier. |
