JAMMU, Aug 12: GDC, Jindrah organized bunch of activities on the occasion of International Youth Day under the guidance of Prof Dr Rajshree Dhar, Principal of the college. The NSS Unit of the college headed by Dr Sunil Dutt Sharma along with NSS volunteers organized plantation drive in the college. An Inter- college online poster making competition has also been organized by the college on International Youth Day on various themes. Sudha Choudhary of GDC RS Pura stood first, Pallavi Sharma of GDC, Jindrah stood second and Sakshi Kumari of GSC, RS Pura bagged third position in the competition. RUSA- EBSB Club of the college also organized a national level online poster making competition on the topic “Cultural heritage of J&K and Tamil Nadu”. Riya Jamwal of 4th sem of GDC Jindrah stood first, Bhanumati Sampat of Rajeshwari Vedachalam Govt Arts College, Tamil Nadu stood second while Shamim Akhtar 2nd sem of GDC Jindrah clinched third position. |
