GDC Vijaypur organizes quiz competition

Jammu, Aug 12: Government Degree College (GDC) Vijaypur, as part of International Youth day celebrations, organized a national level online quiz competition on the topic “Reflections of New Education Policy-2020”. The objective of the competition was to encourage students to look beyond their textual knowledge and to assess themselves regarding their information about NEP-2020. A large number of students from various Colleges and Universities of the country enthusiastically participated in the competition. The first and second position was secured by Sachit Karloopia and Asief Ahmed of Govt. MAM PG College, Jammu whereas Zaigham Sultan of Government College of Commerce and Business Administration, Chandigarh stood third in the competition. The consolation prize winner was Scienthia Karlupia from Army Public School BD Bari Brahmana, Samba. Dr. Gunjeet Mahiwal was the coordinator of the quiz competition whereas the organizing committee included Dr. Uday Pathania, Renuka Kundal and Dr. Shittal Sharma. Dr. Sangeeta Sudan, Principal of the institute lauded the efforts of organizing such events.
