Udhampur, Aug 13: Tariq Shah, the President of NGO Jiyo aur Jeene Do while speaking to media informed the journalists that this time the festival of Independence day ie; August 15 will be celebrated with great simplicity. Due to COVID-19, less number of people will gather outside their office on August 15 for flag hoisting which will be done at exactly 7:30am. President Tariq Shah said,” It is very important to follow the guidelines issued by the administration regarding COVID-19.
We greet all the people a happy and prosperous Independence Day. This time there is no lack of enthusiasm among all the people, but due to COVID-19, every festival, whether it is of religious significance or national importance, every festival is being celebrated with simplicity.
We wish that this festival of freedom gives freedom to all people from this epidemic, opens new dimensions of progress for the youth and leads our nation India towards development.” President was accompanied by members Aqib, Bansi Lal, Saklen, Vice President Parveen Akhtar and others on the occasion. |
