| Director Horticulture conducts extensive field visit of Distt Jammu | | |

Jammu, Aug 13: Director Horticulture Jammu Ram Savak, KAS made an extensive tour of block Khour and Bhalwal of Jammu district where he inspected the Fruit plant nursery Garhi Bishna besides visiting other field Horticultural activities on the way enrouting block Khour and Bhalwal.
During the inspection, he was apprised about the progresses being made in various developmental activities in the nurseries as well as in the field. Director Horticulture Jammu along with SDM Khour Anil Thakur KAS and chairperson Khour Balbir Singh also kick started the plantation drive in block khour by planting the litchi fruit plant in the field of Chain Singh and Vijay Kumar under High Density plantation.
Speaking on the occasion he also briefed the orchardists about the various schemes being implemented by the Department of Horticulture, Jammu and avail maximum benefits. Present on the occasion were Sarpanch Naryana, Sarpanch Naryana, Sarpanch Samwan and panchs of panchayats of block Khour.
Later during the tour Director horticulture also started the plantation drive at block Bhalwal by planting the mango plant at Ranjan in the field of Rajinder Singh besides checking pit digging in the adjoining area. |
