AIC of SC/ST/OBC Organizations holds zoom meeting of Kulgam cadre

KULGAM, Aug 13: All India Confederation (AIC) of SC/ST/OBC Organizations held a zoom meeting of its Kulgam cadre here today.
Addressing the meeting, state president R K Kalsotra advised the Kulgam cadre to be friendly with social media and prepare themselves and SC, ST & OBC masses for a virtual rally in coming days for save reservation rights as the policy programmes of the Government is doubtful.
He said that Government is deliberately privatizing the govt department on mass basis which will stop all reservations rights for employment and affect our educated youth to get job on reservation basis. He also explained the working of the Confederation in the state from its inception 1997 showing the achievements during the period and difficulties the Confederation is facing and sought cooperation of all the stakeholders. He stressed upon the need to strengthen the Confederation in all tehsils of Kulgam. The representatives from Kulgam including Showkeen Javid, Mohd Shad and Shabir Hussain Doie threw light on the problems being faced by the organization.
Special invitees who took part in deliberation were Dina Nath from Udhampur, Roshan Choudhary from Kathua, Sheraz Ahamed Khan from Anantnag, Ab Rasheed Seer from Kupwara, all of whom urged the cadre to work wholeheartedly to strengthen the Confederation.
