Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan: DIC Ramban intensifies implementation process

RAMBAN, Aug 13: To implement “Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan” initiative of the government in the district, District Industries Centre (DIC), Ramban has organized series of awareness programmes in a limited way at various places.
General Manager (GM) Vishwa Jeet also visited Batote area and inspected various business units sponsored by the DIC Ramban.
The GM, DIC, apprised the participants that to overcome setback of Pandemic COVID-19 on economy, the Government has announced various schemes to strengthen and mitigate the problems being faced by the entrepreneur in various sectors including MSME sector.
“There is a need for the private sector to be price competitive and focus on quality in production. It should not only cater to domestic needs but also be able to export products. Only then it will achieve the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan,” he said.
To ensure that the benefits reach all the eligible units registered with DIC Ramban as MSME, he advised the participants to work jointly to achieve the set targets.
He also sensitized the unemployed youth about Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme and various industrial schemes being implemented by the department of Industries for the promotion of industry besides generating employment opportunities for locals in the district.
