Jammu, Aug 14: Citizen Forum (CF) has appealed the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to arrange funds for two DPRs, prepared for bringing drinking water from Chinab River to Jammu city and second reconstruct the Chopra Nursing home in GMC Jammu. R K Chadha President of the Forum said that the demand of project of bringing water from Chinab was raised in 1994, funds of Rs. 220 Crores allotted but leaders of Kashmir saw to it that money is not spent in Jammu. Since then many times funds were made available but project was avoided. Now finally we took up the matter with former LG G C Murmu and a DPR for Rs. 640 Crores was prepared after completing all formalities. Similarly a DPR of Rs 15 Crores was prepared and 5 Crores was released but where the money is spent nobody knows, he said. Chadha invited the attention of LG Manoj Sinah that Jammu is victim of discrimination by both Kashmiri as well as Jammu Leaders. We want the Jammu development Projects be taken on priority basis and completed to give relief to Jammu People.
