In its official statement, ANTF Jammu said that unit received a specific information that a drugs smuggling bid is being attempted in a truck bearing registration number PB11CA5272 parked in Transport Yard by the drug smugglers who have come from Kashmir and are carrying consignment to Mumbai.
On receiving this information, ANTF team swung into action and started search operation in transport yard.
"The team tasked in search successfully located the truck and two persons were nabbed from the spot who have been identified as Angrez Singh, son of Joginder Singh and Sahib Singh, son of Jail Singh, both residents of Tarantaran, Punjab" ANTF press note further reads. During search of the truck, 32 kilograms of charas was recovered from the spot which was brought from Kashmir and was set to handover the consignment to Mumbai based peddlers.
