Government must recognize honest working of teachers: JKSEECC

Jammu, Aug 14: Amar Nath Thakur Chairman School Education Employees Co Ordination Committee JKSEECC, Jammu Kashmir Government Teachers Forum JKGTF and president incharge lecturers JKLUTs appealed the JKUT administration to recognize the work of teachers who are performing or have performed their duties in coronavirus pandemic as corona warriors and deserve due respect.
He appealed to Principal Secretary School Education Department to avoid such remarks against teaching community. He said that they need a smooth and friendly working atmosphere in improving the quality of education in JKUT and there should be no scope for controversies. The most delayed regularization of incharge lecturers and officers of education department was prominently taken up with the request to convene regularization committee meeting ending August 2020 and give much delayed justice to all on the eve of teachers day on 5th, September 2020. As no DPC meeting has been convened after 15/7/2019 to regularise 11000 incharge lecturers and officers. Dr. A. H. Samoon sahab assured his personal intervention in this regard. Thakur referred a press meet in Russia in which a one journalist questioned President Putin. Why do you want to administer vaccine first to doctors and teachers? What about remaining 30 crore common people? does the country not require them and administrators?
