Jammu, Aug 14: Guru Nanak Educational Sewa Society (GNESS) today honoured the meritorious students of the Society who have scored 80 percent and above marks in the 10th and 12th class, the results of which are declared recently by the CBSE for the session 2020, annual.
In a function held here today under the chairmanship of S. Surat Singh Toofani, President of Society, the Chief guest on the occasion was Prof. Nirlep Kour, HOD, Department of Political Science, GCW, Gandhi Nagar (Jammu), Special Guest Er. Narinder Singh, AEE, Mechanical wing Jammu, Guest of Honour Prof. Dr. Manjeet Singh, HOD, Deptt of Punjabi, Govt Degree College, Sainik Colony-Kunjwani (Jammu) and Dr. Amandeep Singh, BVO, Samba.
In the function, more than 85 meritorious students were honoured by presenting the Trophy & the Educational Kits by the panel of the renowned Educationists & the members of the Society.
In her address to the students, Prof. Nirlep Kour asked the students to work hard to achieve their fixed goals which shall go a long way in their lives to become successful in future and to serve the society & the Nation in a better way.
