Jammu, Sept 7: Jammu and Kashmir Rehabar -e- taleem Teachers Forum (JKReTTF) reconstituted it’s provincial body Jammu and has unanimously nominated Rajesh Thakur as the Provincial President for Jammu Province. According to a press statement issued here, the decision was taken unanimously by the UT Executive Body of the Forum headed by Chairman Farooq Ahmed Tantray. He said that Rajesh Thakur is a hard working teacher as well as a long time member of the forum and he has always worked for the restoration of the rights of teachers and students community. He said that he would continue to work for the betterment of the education system in future in addition to the problems and difficulties faced by the teachers. During the occasion Rajesh Thakur assured and said that he will work as per the Constitution of the forum and will try to work with zeal and honesty. He said that he will maintain the trust and confidence which forum state executive made on him. He added that he has been working on teachers’ rights from the beginning and will continue to do so in the future as well. Besides, Arshad Chaudhary has been appointed as Senior Provincial Vice President, Swami Raj Sharma as Provincial Vice President and Rampal Chand as Provincial Coordinator, Singh has been nominated as Provincial Spokesperson, Jamit Singh has been nominated as Provincial special Secretary, Karpal Singh has been given UT Legal Adviser while State Coordinator Pritam Dewan has been given additional charge of District President Udhampur till further orders. |
