Mahajan Sabha alleges Admn’s drama of grabbing land of Panjbakhtar Temple

JAMMU, Sept 7: President, Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha (JCMS), Romesh Chander Gupta alleged that some government agencies played a drama with or without proper consultation to grab the land of the old historical and famous temple of Panjbakhtar at Jammu.
“The Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha cannot remain mum over the said issue which may create havoc if not resolved immediately,” Gupta said in a statement issued here today.
This Sabha, he added, passed a resolution to invite the attention of the Lt Governor of Union Territory Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha to take immediate action to cancel the unfriendly project of construction of multi-level car parking and commercial complex formulated without application of mind and taking on board all the stakeholders.
On one hand, the Central Government has allotted land for the construction of Ram Temple at Ayodhya and on the other hand the Government of Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir is trying to grab the land of the old famous temple of Jammu, he alleged.
Om Parkash Gupta, Shiv Partap Gupta, Rajesh Choudhary, Prabhu Dayal Gupta, Sanjay Mahajan, Mukesh Mahajan, Balbir Gupta, Mohan Lal Gupta C.P Gupta, Atul Gupta, Raman Gupta and Romesh Chander Gupta were present in the meeting.
