| LG hailed for promotion of regional languages: TMF | | |

Jammu, Sept 15: Expressing Heartfelt gratitude of Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha for his visionary approach for promotion of Regional Languages with the accord of approval for opening up of Centre of Excellence in Dogri Language in University of Jammu Team Mask Force (TMF) Chairman Vijay Sharma hailed His Excellency for fulfilling the long pending demand of Jammuites.
The approval for the same was accorded in University of Jammu's Council meeting at Raj Bhavan in Jammu. This will help in translating works done in Dogri in other languages of the country & thereby help in promoting inter linguistic understanding of various cultural activities pertaining to our Regional Languages Dogri being the language of Jammu Dogras and whose founder father like Late Dinu bhai Pant, Late D.C. Prashant Ex.MP. have contributed in getting these in 8th Schedule of Indian Constitution as well. Sharma told in a press Release that the good gesture by the Chancellor of Jammu University will be remembered by Time Memorial and wished him a successful tenure of JKUT. |
