Jan Sunvayi held across panchayats of Samba district

SAMBA, Sept 15: Jan Sunvayi under Jan Abhiyan programme were held across the Panchayats of this District where a large number of locals projected their demands to the teams of officers deputed by the district administration .
The Jan Sunvayi was simultaneously carried out in nine blocks of the district followed by Jan Adhikar session where the eligible applicants were provided various services like revenue documents, domicile certificates, caste certificates, dependency certificates. The registration for various individual benefit schemes including social Security schemes for Old age pensions, handicap pensions, scholarships were also held.
The Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Heath, and other departments also participated.
The District officers deputed at the panchayat took appraisal of local issues in consultation with Block Development Chairpersons, Sarpanches and general public. Maximum issues were redressed on the spot with the intervention of the concerned departments.
