Jan Abhiyan intensifies across district Ramban

Ramban, Sept 15: With an aim to boost people centric governance system through PRIs in rural areas besides maintaining transparency in the development process “pre- Back to Village-3” activities under Jan Abhiyan are intensified across district Ramban.
People in good numbers have participated in the programmes for ensuring concentrated and determined developmental push’ to socio-economic condition ACD, Ramban, Zameer Ahmad Rishu informed that Jan Abhiyan (Awami Muhim) being conducted in all eleven blocks of district Ramban with three important component viz Adhikar Abhiyan(Muhim Barai-e-Haqooq)-Service Delivery and 100% saturation of beneficiary scheme; Unnat Gram Abhiyan (Dehi Taraqiyati Muhim)- Mega Development push at the ground level and Jan Sunwai Abhiyan (Awami Sunwai Muhim) - Public Grievance Redressal. Officers of different departments have conducted small meetings with PRIs and the public to ensure saturation of individual beneficiaries of all centrally sponsored social assistance and welfare schemes.
BDOs have sensitized the participants that people will decide about the works to be taken up meantime they asked the PRIs to ensure effective utilization of funds under MGNREGA and 14 FC. In Block Ramban, Ramsoo, Khari, Batote, Rajgarh and Gool “Jan Sunvayee “ was conducted under which detailed discussion was held regarding different development projects besides issues being faced by the common masses of different panchayats. Payments of completed works under different schemes and Geo tagging of PMAYG houses and installment thereof were also made by the department in Block Rajgarh, Ukhral and Gundi-Dhram Integrated Child Development Services Department, Ramban also organized the “Poshan Pakhwada ” programme under Jan Abhiyan in Block Banihal.
