Veterans deserve utmost respect:Sat

JAMMU, Sep 16: Former BJP President BJP J&K Sat Sharma along with other BJP leaders honored veterans at Ward 41, Talab Tillo area of Jammu West. Sharma was also accompanied by District President Munish Khajuria, District General Secretary Karan Sharma, District Vice President Jaideep Sambyal, local residents and political activists of the area. As part of BJP's ongoing Seva Saptah program, the BJP leaders honored the veterans during the third day of the week long program. The program was organized by the Ward team of BJP under the leadership of President Ashok Wazir.
Retired Veterans Col Percy and former SI Jugal Kishore were honored by the BJP leaders. Percy has served in Indian Army for 39 years and has been awarded with many medals awards and Jugal Kishore was a retiree from Jammu Kashmir Police as Sub Inspector and served a long time under JKP.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that veterans contributed and sacrificed their whole life for protecting our motherland and in return it is our moral duty to honor those who only thought about the nation's progress and nothing else. Sharma also talked about various welfare schemes launched by the Narendra Modi Government for the welfare of veterans including One Rank One Pension.
SC Morcha District President Yash Pal Shivgotra, District Secretaries Brijesh Gupta and Satyabhushan Dubey, Bubesh Thappa, Rajesh Singh, Bhanu Sambyal,Vikas Khajuria, Jangjit Singh, Abhishek, Harish and others including prominent people of Shanti Vihar were also present on the occasion.
