TSO Thatri closed for four days after majority of staff tested COVID positive

Jammu, Sept 16: Sub Divisional Magistrate Thatri today ordered for closure of office of Tehsil Supply Officer (TSO) Thatri after majority of the staff posted at TSO Office Thatri tested positive for COVID-19.
As per the details available with Early Times, SDM Thatri vide Order No. SDMT/Adm/2020-21/101-06 Dated 16-9-2020 issued the order for closure of the TSO office.
“In view of the COVID-19 positive cases among many of the staff members of the FCS&CA Tehsil Supply Office Thatri and as precautionary measure and for the sanitisation of the office complex, it is hereby ordered that the Tehsil Supply Office Thatri shall remain closed for four days w.e.f 17-9-2020.” read the order.
It is pertinent to mention that about 400 cases has been reported in Doda District in last three days forcing Doda administration to take several measure including ordering ban on movement of people above the age of 60 years besides declared several areas in Doda, Bhaderwah and Gandoh as contaminated zones to check the spread of the virus.
