| Citizen Forum criticises order issued by Principal GMC Jammu | | |

Jammu, Sep 17: Citizen's Forum President R K Chadha has strongly criticised the order of Principal GMC asking Dr Dara Singh and Dr. Dharmendar Kumar the real covid warriors to vacate the rooms from faculty guest rooms where they are staying for Covid management , inspite of being working day and night to treat the covid patients and they themselves have become positive in the process and duty. This is purely indifference among the staff and shortage of medical facilities in GMC which needs immediate attention.
The GMC Jammu is the largest Hospital and people are coming here to get treated of Covid Pandemic and these and other doctors who are working in the worst conditions of the institutions are told to vacate rooms in the GMC. This institution has already become battle ground because of political interference in its working and denial of seniority benefits due to interference in its working. It has come to our knowledge that no Senior retired doctor from Jammu is willing to work in GMC as special invitee by the government because of the unfriendly atmosphere and thus some doctors are being arranged form outside the UT to meet the increasing positive conditions. |
