Jan Abhiyaan: Awareness cum redressal camp held at Bani

KATHUA, Sept 17 : On the seventh day of the pre B2V3-Jan Abhiyaan, extensive outreach activities held across this border district. Awareness cum Grievances Redressal Camp was organised at BDO office Bani wherein SDM, J.S Jasrotia presided over the Public Grievances Redressal proceedings.
BDC Chairman, Babu Khan. Block Development Officer, Akhil Sadotra, Tehsildar, Shiv Kumar besides officers of Animal Husbandry, Sheep Husbandry, ICDS, Horticulture, Agriculture, Fisheries, Forest, LDM Kathua, J&K Bank, Ayush. Sarpanches of Pyt Bani, Gatti, Siara, Lowang North, Chandal, Barmota, Sandroon, Bandhar, Kardoh, Fatehpur were also present.
Issues such as provision for Aadhar Card Camps, covering left out Ration Card beneficiaries, provision of timber for PMAY-G houses, posting of Staff in office of BDO, filling of gynaecologist post in Bani hospital and release of pending payment of works already completed, were raised by the PRIs and locals .
SDM Bani gave patient hearing and assured that all the issues projected by them would be taken up on priority. He said an action taken report will be reviewed weekly and every endeavour will be made to ensure maximum redressal before 30th September 2020.
On the occasion SDM Bani who is also Sub Registrar handed over the first ever online registered document (Rent deed) issued from his office under NGDR system. Pertinent to mention here National Generic Document Registration System( NGDRS) was launched in Jammu & Kashmir this June to facilitate the public with a transparent and hassle free registration process.
Meanwhile, Tehsildar Pankaj Sharma and team of Revenue department organised a camp at Panchayat Ghar Dungara of Block Billawar for on the spot scrutiny of documents and issuance of Domicile certificates.
During the camp 500 Domicile and over 150 category certificates were issued to the applicants.
Similar camp was held at Panchayat Bhikar & Sialag of block Bhoond, Basohli, where Tehsildar Aman Anand in presence of Sarpanch Sialag Seema Devi and Sarpanch Bhikar Rello Devi gave away 55 Domicile Certificates and 94 category certificates to the applicants.
