| Doda Admin’s novel move: Home quarantined getting ‘Medicine Kits’ at their doorsteps | | |  Early Times Report
DODA, Sept 19: District administration Doda, under the supervision of District Development Commissioner, Dr Sagar D Doifode, has started first of its kind initiative to provide ‘Medicine Kits’ to the home quarantined Covid positive patients at their doorsteps.
The Medicine Kit includes Vitamin C tablets, Zinc tablets, Cough Syrup, Paracetamol tablets and Azithromycin Antibiotic tablets. After the novel move, the medical team of Bhaderwah has distributed over 200 medicine kits to the patients and the process of distribution is on. Keeping in view the safety of the distribution team and as a part of the SOP, the kits are handed over to the attendants of the patient, while Covid patients have been advised to stay indoors during the home isolation.
It is pertinent to mention here that this is the first of its kind initiative taken by any District Administration across UT for the convenience of the Covid patients.
Meanwhile, the process of distribution of medicine kits among the Covid patients under home isolation would also be started in Doda township soon.
The DDC has already issued directions to the Medical Superintendent, Associated Hospital GMC Doda to start the process.
