JKTA holds virtual meeting
9/19/2020 11:22:40 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Sept 19: Jammu Kashmir Teachers Association (JKTA) held Virtual important meeting along with teachers of various zones of Jammu Province under the Chairmanship of Joginder Kumar Digra State Vice President Of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Association.
Joginder Digra appealed worthy principal secretary of school education department Jammu Kashmir UT. for to Redressal the genuine demands of Grade-II and Grade -lll Teachers of across the UT.
It is unfortunate that Grade-II and Grade lll Teachers have pending liabilities of Salary and DA arrears wef 2014 to September 2018.
JKTA also demands to stop the harrasments of Grade-II and Grade -lll teachers in the name of IMPACT Training which is only for grade ll and Grade-lll Teachers of Jammu and Kashmir.
It is pure injustices for Teacher community.
If it is very important training so why shouldn’t be given to General Line Teachers Community? and Also for RReT under 3rd Teachers Category.
That Grade-II and Grade-lll Teachers are very experienced Teachers because they have appointed in 2003 and 2004 and have more than 15 years of Teaching experience and need not any such type of trainings and Training shoul be given to freshers whose appointment is just 3 years or 4years back.
Joginder Digra also demanded that accountant posts should be filled as soon as possible that accountant posts are lying vacant in most of the CEO’S And ZEO’s offices across th UT Especially in the offices of CEO And ZEO Jammu which is a great concerns that the salary and bills of treasuries are always not be cleared in time and this effects directly on teachers community.
The JKTA also demanded that those clerical staff who are promoted as Junior Assistant from class ivth and have not computer knowledge must be given computer Training that most of the teachers look busy in ZEO’s and CEO’s Office to work as clerk’s which is not thier primary work. And because teachers must be in Schools and not in the offices of school education department.
The virtual meeting attended by various zonal and district President of Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Association.
