| AJKSKS launches plantation drive at Bishnah | | |

Jammu, Sept 19: All J&K Sadguru Kabir Sabha today launched plantation drive at Kabir Bhawan, Chak-avtara, Bishnah. Speaking on the occasion, President of the Sabha F.C Bhagat said that tree plantation is not just something that should be done; instead, it is a necessity, the urgent need of the hour. Planting of trees is especially important to protect our environment against air pollution and global warming. In the blind race of development, we forget the mantra of Indian culture that nature is our mother and it cannot be exploited. This is the reason why the temperature of the earth is increasing and badly affected climate thereby disturbing the atmosphere and calling for various unexpected diseases. There is the only way which our saints and ‘puranas’ had told us that trees are friends of human and only trees can save us. Indian culture has accepted the importance of trees and encouraged it,” he said. The sabha reiterated that each of us should plant atleast one tree every year so as bring an equilibrium for our eco-system. |
