Early Times Report

Jammu, Sept 19: Congress as well as independent corporators of Jammu Municipal Corporation held a meeting in the JMC Councilors Hall, Town Hall Jammu under the leadership of Dwarka Choudhary, Chief Whip of Congress party and in the said conference the following points were unanimously discussed and decided by the Corporators of JMC.
General House meeting should be convened as per act of JMC monthly, whereas after Feb.2020 to date no meeting has been held by the Major and the general problems faced by the people of different wards of JMC and these problems are not being addressed because the general house meeting are not held monthly. And we suggest that every month meeting be held so that the corporators may put their general problems which are faced by the people of the wards. The installation of street lights could not continue and 20% of the street lights which were installed has also got out of order and the defected lights are not replaced and neither new street lights are installed and this point may please be noted and we strongly stress that street lights be installed at the earliest.
Covid-19: The proper treatment is not being given to the patients of Covid-19 due to shortage of oxygen and ventilators in the hospitals and there is total negligence and we request to Lt. Governor to take the cognizance of this issue so that the public may take a sigh of relief as number of Covid-19 patients lost their lives due to negligence and it is a known fact.
